CNY in malaysian way! :p - PART 1

Hi everyone,

It has indeed been a long time that I didn't update my blog. Well sorry for that, life is so exciting here and forgot to share with u all! hehe...

Recently during the chinese new year (CNY), I've been to Martin's place whereas I spent a really good time there with his family. I was really been blessed by the stay and the foods!!! hehe... After CNY, I became fat already! :p haha!!! Never mind, as the chinese people say, "Haya you become prosperous already!" haha!!

A special dish for CNY called Yu Sang! :)

There was a special dish which was really nice where I've never seen that in Mauritius. According to Martin, it's commonly a Malaysian chinese food especially for the CNY! Miam!!!

Woah!!! Lots of foods!!! Me holding the "unmixed" Yu Sang

I really enjoyed the time where I was blessed with lot of food at Martin's family. I meet him parents and brothers and sis in law and babies!!! :D hehe...

Mixing the Yu Sang!!! Banzai!!! :D

I'm doing pretty good! hehe..

The Yu Sang is a special dish where there is lots of colourful ingredients! As you can see in the picture, we had to mix it all together with the help of chopsticks, which is really fun! :) The mixing process is called "Lao Yu Sang"! What I've learned is that when all people gather in the mixing process, it's a symbolic thing and we have to wish each other prosperity and health!

Mixing result! Hmm... Yummy!!! Liko ho ho sek! :D

After the mixing, wow, once u taste it, it seems to be weird but it's really really nice lah! :p hahhaa it's sweet and very tasty! You would want another round. Actually it's the starter only and then there were still other food that I've never seen before! All foods were nice, delicious and good for the stomach! :p hehe...

Well this was part 1 of the CNY in a malaysian way!

NEXT POST PLS!!! :D
